OSIX Design Documents are available from the 'Document' section General
2010.04.05 00:00 Stephanos Edit
The OSIX design documents are now available form the 'Documents' section (of this OSIX blog).
Along with this notification, I will briefly describe how the document systems work.
Originally, the 'Document' section is a wiki site and is supposed to be able to be edited by anyone. However, we only use it for the document maintanence purpose and it is only maintained by the developers (no other users are allowed to edit the wiki pages.).
The 'Front Page' contains the links to the major documents (also documents are classified here.). All minor documents that are not listed in the Front Page can be referenced from the 'Documents List' section.
Since documents change as the time goes on and we sometimes need to reference the previous documents, we save all the old documents within the wiki pages. In the wiki pages, the data shown is always the most up-to-date document. The previous versions are stored in the comments section. Every comment states what version the document is and includes an attachment file which is the document of the specified version.
You should now be able to understand how the documents are organised and filed. If you have any further questions, please comment on this post. Also, when you find any errors in the documents, please send me a message (on the Paradoxoft Website System) or an e-mail.
